    The research “Promoting the achievement of competence is communicated orally in their native language through educational theater workshops in four-year-old boys and girls of the Cayma initial educational institution” is framed in a qualitative action research methodology. Having as its main objective to promote the achievement of competition and with a sample of 25 4-year-old children. The present study has two categories, the first category is Oral Communication and as subcategories we have the capabilities of the aforementioned competence which are Obtains information from the oral text, Infers and interprets information from the oral text, Adapts, organizes and develops the text in a coherent and cohesive way, Uses non-verbal and paraverbal resources strategically, Interacts strategically with different interlocutors and reflects and Evaluates the form, content and context of the oral text, the mobilization of all the aforementioned capacities will allow the achievement of the learning standard and the indicators are made up of the performances of said competition. The second category is “Theater Workshops” that will be applied in the action plan, as a solution response, taking into account dramatization as a methodological strategy because it will promote good interaction and physical and vocal strengthening. At the end of the application of the plan of action and evaluation tools, significant learning was achieved in boys and girls, obtaining the expected achievement of competence.
