The school 41031 "Madre del Divino Amor" is located in an urban area, in Calle Juan Manuel Polar 407, district of Mariano Melgar, province of Arequipa. It belongs to the UGEL Arequipa Sur. The district of Mariano Melgar. The present research is oriented according to a qualitative approach, because it will allow us to collect and analyze non- numerical data to understand behaviors, opinions and emotions of the sample set according to conceptual data. It is because of the qualitative approach that we intend to provide a research methodology that will allow us to understand the complex world of lived experience from the point of view of the people who live it, allowing us to understand the critical thinking of students. The critical thinking skills have been developed through the use of collaborative work, achieving a favorable result in terms of improving the responses before the selected skills, while the analysis skill has increased significantly from the application of the strategy, the argumentation skill was boosted from actions such as the defense of the argument and the problem-solving skill has increased favorably in students.
