    Our research has the title Strengthening the mathematical notions of shape, movement and location through didactic games in 4-year-old children of an educational institution in the district of Socabaya, Arequipa, 2023; where the objective has been defined to achieve the improvement of mathematical competence in form, movement and location through the application of an action plan with didactic floor games, a methodology with a qualitative approach with an action research design was used, the sample was 25 students enrolled in the 4-year-old classroom, instruments of a qualitative nature such as field diaries, observation sheets and interviews were used, the pedagogical action plan had 12 applications, gathering information both before and after the application of the action plan. action, based on triangulations, resulting in the baseline of the research showing the majority of components weakened, after the application of the action plan it is observed that almost all students have managed to strengthen mathematical notions in shape, movement and location, in this way it was possible to conclude that the application of educational floor games supports the improvement of mathematical competence at the initial level.
