    MEJORANDO LA COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA A TRAVÉS DE LA TÉCNICA DEL SUBRAYADO EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL CUARTO GRADO “C” DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA DE LA I.E. PAOLA FRASSINETTI, FE Y ALEGRÍA 45, PAUCARPATA, AREQUIPA, 2021

    The objective of this research was to improve reading comprehension through the underlining technique in 4th grade “C” students of Primary Education at the I.E Paola Frassinetti Fe y Alegría 45, Paucarpata. The type of research is qualitative, action research design; The sample is made up of 31 students; An action plan composed of 15 activities was applied; The data collection instruments were the field diary, evaluation rubric and interview with the classroom teacher. The result indicates that reading comprehension significantly improved through the underlining technique, the students developed the literal level correctly, locating explicit information from the text to extract precise data, recognize the main idea as secondary and select information similar to another; On the other hand, they improved at the inferential level since they made deductions from the explicit information in the text, thus formulating hypotheses about the content of the text, deducing the continuity of events in each paragraph and interpreting the meaning of the words and phrases; Finally, at the critical level, students give their opinion on the central message of the text, assuming a critical stance towards the text, whether for or against.
