The purpose of this research work was to "Improve the resolution of problems of multiplicative and additive structure through mathematical games in students of the 5th grade of primary education, Arequipa 2022". The research is qualitative with an action research methodological design. Applied to a sample of 28 students, using a 5-question questionnaire as instruments for exploratory research, a diagnostic test with a total of 20 questions was used for the baseline and a focused testimony was used for the action plan, highlighting the achievements obtained during the development of the activity. For the results, the baseline, categories and subcategories, impact and the report of the experience were taken into account. It was concluded that the students managed to improve the resolution of problems of multiplicative and additive structure through mathematical games that were applied during several sessions, the game was taken as a priority since it is a didactic resource that allows reasoning and development. logical thinking and thus learning was achieved in a simple and playful way.
