CANAZA MALDONADO Rosalinda2024-02-092024-02-092024-02-09https://repositorio.ispa.edu.pe/handle/123456789/339In the present research work, the objective is to compare the level of motivation in the area of mathematics in the students of the third grade and fourth grade of the primary level belonging to the educational institution No. 40134 Mandil Azul - Mariano Melgar, in the case of a study comparative descriptive, non-experimental design having a quantitative approach. A survey was used to measure motivation in students, which was validated by experts in the field. A sample was used which consisted of 25 students from the third grade of primary school and 24 students from the fourth grade of primary school. The result obtained in relation to the comparison of the level of motivation in the area of mathematics is egalitarian, since 100% of the students in the third grade of the primary level are at a high motivational level, unlike 96% of the students. fourth grade students have a high motivational index. In conclusion, what is determined that the students of the IV cycle are at a very high level where own and external factors influence both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations so that they have a good acquisition of learning in relation to the area of mathematics that was worked in this investigation Keywords: motivation, intrinsic, extrinsic, mathematical, process, problems, education, level, virtual, stimulation, reinforcement and will.
