FLORES NIFLA JudithBERNAL HUAMANI MariluzTORRES APAZA Rolan Gustavo2024-02-192024-02-192024-02-19https://repositorio.ispa.edu.pe/handle/123456789/344The objective of this work is to "strengthen the resolution of quantity problems through the use of structured and unstructured material in the students of the 6th grade of primary education, of an educational institution in the district of Yanahuara, Arequipa, 2022." The research is of a qualitative type and action-research design, applied to a sample of 24 students whose ages range between 11 and 12 years. The instruments used to collect data were a diagnostic exam, an interview with the teacher, and the field diary that allowed the recording of the progressive improvement of the students. For the triangulation of the baseline, three instruments were used, such as a diagnostic test, an interview with the teacher, and a field diary, and for the results, an interview with the teacher, a field diary, and an assessment scale were used, where the results gave to know the improvement of the students after the application of the action plan. With our intervention we show that the use of structured and unstructured concrete material strengthens the resolution of quantity problems since the student can manipulate it and in this way can understand, relate, use various procedures and rely on it to form a position and defend it.
