Resumen

The pandemic brought many revelations, one of them is the emotional impact on early childhood during confinement, routines, distancing, mobility limitations and living at home for so many hours had influences on the socioemotional development of children generating different responses depending on the type of coexistence. Our research was developed with the purpose of characterizing the emotional development of students by the involvement of parents during Covid 19 in Initial Educational Institution, it belongs to a case study using observation and interview techniques in a sample of 5 children in which the importance of parental involvement in the competencies of emotional awareness, emotional regulation, emotional autonomy and emotional well-being was recorded. The analyzed results reveal that parents who were involved in the emotional development of their sons or daughters during the confinement by Covid 19 made their children develop positive emotions, which allows them to be able to overcome conflict situations, live together harmoniously establishing good social relationships, feel self-confident, recognize their emotions, the emotions of others and regulate them; which does not occur with parents who were not involved in the emotional development of their sons or daughters for various reasons.
