Abstrac
In this reseach titled strengthening personal autonomy through symbolic play in three-year-
old children, it is oriented withina qualitative approach whose design is action. It includes as a
general objective to strengthen personal autonomy through symbolic play in children three years
of the I.E.I. N° 71 San Juan de Dios, Jacobo Hunter, Arequipa, 2023 and specific objectives,
identify the level of development of personal autonomy in three-year-old children of the I.E.I. San
Juan de Dios, Jacobo Hunter, Arequipa, 2023; apply symbolic play activities in three-year students
of the I.E.I. N° 71 San Juan de Dios, Jacobo Hunter, Arequipa, 2023 and finally evaluate the impact
of symbolic play on the development of personal autonomy in three-year students of the I.E.I. N°
71 San Juan de Dios, Jacobo Hunter, Arequipa, 2023. The unit of analysis is made up of 12 boys
and 10 girls. The action plan of 14 actvities and workshops is applied with the evaluation
instruments, managing to strengthen their personal autonomy by improving the corresponding
skills of the competition, constructing their identity in the social personnel area. Finally, the
conclusions are presented in relation to the resultsobtained from the instruments used during the
research.
