Resumen
The current research work entitled "Improving oral communication through educational workshops of storytelling from the remote classroom in children of 5 years old, section" A "of the IEI Generalissimo San Martín, Mariano Melgar, Arequipa - 2021", whose main objective is to achieve oral communicative competence, based on a qualitative approach whose research design is action, which began with an exploratory research that allowed identifying the level of development in students with respect to the competence of communicates orally in their mother tongue, from this study it is planned the intervention through storytelling workshops.
At the beginning, from the diagnostic workshop, it was observed that not all students obtain information and facts from the oral text, show difficulty in expressing their needs, emotions, interests and they know about their experiences when interacting. In the same way, most do not wait their turn to speak and interrupt their classmates and teachers when they are speaking, they don't interact strategically with their different interlocutors, they don't use non-verbal and paraverbals resources in a strategic way, they don't make gestures and body movements and finally they don't ask questions about the story.
The results that we obtained in this project is that the children improve the of oral communication through educational storytelling workshops, in the same way it was possible to mobilize the different capacities of the competence "It communicates orally in its mother tongue"
