Resumen
The present investigation entitled, Improving reading comprehension from lexical
relationships in students of the 3rd grade of primary education, Arequipa 2022; The objective
was to improve reading comprehension from lexical relationships in students of 3rd "A" of the
primary level of an Educational Institution in the district of Yanahuara, Arequipa 2022. The
type of research that is oriented is the qualitative approach with design methodological
participatory action research, applied to a sample of 28 students between boys and girls ranging
from 8 to 9 years old; applying the field diary as the main instrument for the collection of
information throughout the process; Other instruments were also applied, such as the interview
with the teacher and the evaluation scale, which were reflected with the triangulation technique,
allowing the validation of the results obtained. The research process in relation to the action
plan concludes that during the research work three instruments were applied with the purpose
of knowing and identifying the problem detected on the inferential level of reading
comprehension, evidencing that the students were at the level beginning and process in relation
to the categories of reiteration and co-occurrence; Said problem was overcome with the
application of the action plan making use of lexical relations as an improvement strategy in
order to achieve the objectives set out in the investigation; that is why the work has responded
to the needs and demands of the beneficiary students.
