Abstrac
The present research work, entitled "CASE STUDY OF A PRIMARY STUDENT
WITH DIFFICULTIES IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS AT I.E N 40177 DIVINO
CORAZON DE JESUS, PAUCARPATA AREQUIPA 2022", aims to carry out a descriptive,
comparative study of a case of a student with difficulties in the area of mathematics at the
primary level in relation to the problematic approach focused on problem solving, which
emphasizes knowing how to act relevant to a problematic situation.
The diagnosis of the problem was identified through the application of various
evaluation techniques and instruments that showed this deficiency in the students. The
development of the research work included the analysis of the planning of fourteen learning
sessions focused on the didactic sequence proposed. Learning Routes and the strengthening of
mathematical capabilities, as process and result actions.
The results obtained were satisfactory since they show that the student improved in
relation to learning sessions of accompaniment and guidance of the learning routes, emphasis
on the didactic sequence and in comparison to the other students, the majority of students also
used the six capacities. mathematics such as mathematizes, represents, communicates,
develops strategies, uses symbolic expressions and argues, allowing them to solve various
problematic situations
